Such a good looking update on a classic theme.

Now the big news, the Maacan:

This is going to be a major hit for Porsche, but oh boy is it pricey. The turbo they had on the floor was over 100K with options. Interior and design are all pure Porsche. Question is do you like it better than the Cayenne? Hmmmmmmmm

To view the 918 up close you had to make an appointment. You can't tell here, but the 918 was enclosed in its own glass room:

The 918 we all can afford!

Another favorite, the VW Golf R:

VWoA has got to get it together. This is a hot little car, but why show the 3-door when we won't get that version? So far all the press says only the 5-door is headed to the U.S.

VW Dune Beetle Concept:

Nice, if you like that sort of thing lol.

The smaller Infiniti that is twinned with the Mercedes A/B/CLA/GLA chassis:

I forget what it is called?? Very handsome little car though.

Edit: It is the Q30.

The Chrysler Group:

The new Chrysler 200:

621954c6369bae709c0b685cdef54e7f.webp

Very important car for Chrysler. The design is worlds better than the old 200, but something is just off about the car. The rear seat seemed to tight compared to the Camry, Fusion and others in this class. Gorgeous interior though, very euro, but I don't think this will be as big of a hit as they need it to be. It doesn't look big enough and inside it isn't. Mixed results IMO.

Stunning matte finished Viper:

Breathtaking presentation. You can't see it here, but floor that it sat on had that wet look which really showed up the car's paint finish.

More updates, particularly BMW and Mercedes a little later this evening.

Words don't convey how slick this car looks. Sheer aggression, but with a clean elegance the RC F across the floor couldn't come close to matching. A few more:

Loved the new 2-Series. Perfect little BMW and a world away from the 1-Series. Both the 228i and M235i were there:

Thanks for the pictures, Marcus :)
I have to admit that Audi has the best looking line of cars IMO.
They are so far ahead of BMW and MB in my book.
It was never the case with previous generations.

PS: Black is the right color for the 2-Series! I'll go check it out :)

And last but not least, Mercedes-Benz. The S Coupe Concept:

So much sleeker than the CL ever was. Tone back the shark nose and this will take its place as one of the best looking Benz coupes ever.

S600:

The highlight of the Mercedes-Benz stand, the brilliant new C-Class:

Mercedes has finally perfected the small car that started out as the 190E over 30 years ago. C400 for me please!

The GLA is really small both inside and out:

9e7cc47866d3142feabf32a430994fbd.webp
55dfdc9bae0afd74c812d12e9c57701f.webp

This will be bought up in alarming numbers I'm sure. It won't be able to haul much but it will look great doing so.

Plain ole S550:

That's all folks!
