For me it would have to be:

1. MB - Looks better balanced than the other two. Seems more like a car that was designed this way rather than the other two.
2: BMW - While good looking, there are still elements of this car that seem like it was forced on there rather than planned from the get go.
3. AUDI - Front is beautiful and so is the interior...everything else is really boring.

The RS7 is the ultimate A7 and it does look really good... I'm not the biggest fan of the rear but that front is one of my favorites in the automotive industry... perfection at it's best! BRAVO!
IMO the CLS is an ugly pig but has amazing performance!
The only car here based on a true coupe is the 6GC... it has a true coupe front and rear and yes the side looks a bit sedan-ish but that's the whole point with all BMW coupes and that's why I love them.
E92 looks so sedan-ish yet it kills everything in the looks department IMO and feels most special because of that :)

Yes, I have! Many times because I see one every midweek driving front of my door ;-) I think you r saying that because of the name G"Coupe".

I saying that because all this three don´t are true coupes. If you want a TRUE 4 door coupe then there is only one, The Aston Martin Rapide. For me is the Gran Coupe very sleek and low and sporty but the last touch for the coupe feeling is missing. Audi is a hatchback and a little bit bloated but i like it, but sorry no 4 door coupe more a very good looking hatchback. Mercedes is the beginner of this class but the old one was more "coupelike" the new one is good loocking BUT here is the last coupe feeling missing , too. IMO

The one and only true four door coupe.

That is a tough one. Would be nice to see M6 GC with xDrive. It would be more fair. CLS still has something others can get. Interior is the worst part of the Merc. If not it could have been my choice.

Has anyone any experience of AWD in an AMG Mercedes to know whether it's performance is as excessable as it is in an RS Audi?

I think no body has driven it yet. Next RS7 vs. CLS AMG comparos will tell us. Hopefully head to head with laptime and acceleration by same driver on same day with same conditions.

I've driven the '12 CLS63 with PP and the '12 M5. Tough choice...

Engine: Hard to tell. Both are very similar in punchy acceleration. Major differences are of course the soundtrack, the S63Tü resembles a flat-plane crank V8, with metallic noises (I5? V10 maybe?). It's a goosebumping sound, honestly. The M157 has the traditional burbling V8, 99% of buyers would go for this one. Stock performance is one thing, both underrated. But seems to me the M157 is easily +700 PS tuned. This S63/S63Tü is having problems here. Design problems? 4.0 TFSI I can't say now. Must be highly underrated as well. The S8 has something like 570 PS stock.

Gearbox: The MCT is a great gearbox, period. It's not an automatic and it's not an automated manual, it's a wicked wet start-up clutch replacing the torque converter of the 7G-Tronic. Don't know how to translate it in practical terms, but the M-DCT is the winner here. Suits better the category. Audi is loosing here, I guess. The next R8 isn't supposed to have the 4.0 TFSI engine? An S-Tronic is a must.

Interior: The AMG interior is way better. But the new M6 (all F12 interiors) are a major advance comparing to the F10. In the E60/E63 generation there weren't many differences, in terms of quality. Audi has also a great interior.

Personally I don't like the M6 GC design. I'd buy an M6 Coupé. The A7/S7 Sportback is uglier than the A6/S6 Sedan. The C7 has the best Audi front of the whole bunch. The CLS isn't an ugly car, with the AMG exterior. The E63 with this new looks, without Ponton fenders and this teenage looks gives the CLS the prize here. But just because it's a "sedan" comparison with the M6 GC. My choice would be the M5. Second place the Panny GTS.

1. MB looks sporty yet elegant. It is very well balanced and his power is really amazing.

2. BMW. I really love its design both exterior and interior, the exterior is my favourite agressive design in the world these days, but it doesn`t have that feeling, that magic aura, that the CLS haves.

3. RS7 It`s a boring car. I kinda like its front fascia, and the rear but it has that horrible profile, that fastback hump that I personally hate on every car except the `69 Mustang.

BMW, Audi, Mercedes in that order for me. Love the interior and exterior of the BMW and the engine. Love the engine, and more of the exterior of the A7 than the interior. CLS design just doesn't do it for me, though the engine is off the charts now.M

BMW, Audi, Mercedes in that order for me - too(n);) Exterior that is, the CLS is a heavy design that looks just so heavy..

As for the Interior's BMW, MERCEDES, AUDI in that order. Both the 6er and CLS has Million $ cabins! Absolutely superb in craftsmanship IRL. The A7's on the other hand has too much VAG cost cutting below the waist line IRL, making it el'cheapo for me and I'l never forgive that becuase IMO the A7's exterior is brilliant whilst Audi's reputation for cabin quality is a let down in both A6 and A7's...why!? And ahy do I make such a fuss about it??? Becuase I am afraid come next generation 5er and E-class, they Daimler and BMW AG may think...."ahhh! Let's do the same and save money,,,Audi got away with it so...Why not!?"

Just look at the F20 cabin and A3's....and what MB after all the years of critisism late (90's/early 2000+) did with the new A-class cabin also el'cheapo (again!?) so it's not just Audi that slips.

In the end maybe it's just the VAG way??? See it's easy! Polo cabin quality is copy+paste up to the Touereg, same materials making the Polo best-in-class and the Touareg worst-in-class. Ditto for the A3 best-in-class and A7 worst-in-class for the A3 materials is copy+paste for everyting except the A8 and R8.

I love the "el'cheapo" phrase :D

I found this on youtube, by the RS7 vs M5. The RS7 looks fast :)

For looks in-and-out, pure agression and sex appeal the 6er steals my vote time and time again.
For pure opulance and brand cred I have to admit the Panamera GTS has the bigger balls...such a...a...Porsche actually.

And that's THE thing! Neither Audi (even with it's R8) nor M-B (SLS is a standalone brilliance apart from any comparison here) nor BMW are 'there yet' to crush Porsche in any multi-type comparison. IMO.

Wild/False accusation!? Sorry, but I think as german car fanatics we on GCF knows it to be true about Porsche, they just do somethings (essential things) different each and every time.
