I think the Cayman will look better than the 911. I think the Cayman will be overall a better car than the 911. Unfortunatelly it won't be called "911" so it won't get the best (most powerful) engines.

I think that looks MISERABLY GOOD. HOLY SH**. I think I might rather have that than a 911. I was concerned that the 911 would be too much bigger (I like bigger because these cars a little too small for my liking), but they're almost the same size. Therefore, the Cayman is not only a MUCH better buy, but will hold its own, maybe even look better?

This car will be a game changer. The Cayman will actually be competition to the 911.

It certainly will from an appearance and driving dynamic point of view K-A, although it will still lack the HP to compete with the iconic 911 in the numbers department. It is really a shame, since this car could handle tons more power.

I think you could say it always could from a dynamics point of view... and now it finally will from an appearance point of view. The only thing left is the power aspect where it won't compete with the 911, as well as the image factor.

The 911 Coupé is about 50 kg lighter than the 911 Cabrio. Will the Cayman also be slightly lighter than the Boxster?

That would be really very nice. But I don't want it to be called neither Cyaman GT3 nor Cayman R. Cayman RS would be ok, or Cayman GT or even GTS.

Me it would just be a Cayman 3.8. Same as the Cayman S but the the 3.8l H6 making 400 PS from the 911 Carrera S.
