You. The Road. Nothing else.
The 2013 Porsche 911 Targa has been caught by our spy photographers.
Minimally disguised, the prototype is equipped with a fake convertible roof that attempts to hide the model's retro roll bar. It remains unclear how the roof will work, but reports have indicated it will automatically retract and slot behind the roll bar.
Engine options should carryover from the standard model, so expect a 3.4-liter with 350 PS (257 kW / 345 hp) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 3.8-liter with 400 PS (294 kW / 394 hp) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. Both can be connected to a seven-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK transmission.
The Porsche 911 Targa will likely be introduced early next year with sales starting shortly thereafter.
