One of the main problems with the anti-wedge (and perhaps wedge shapes) of newer Mercedes is that thay are not very photogenic in some cases, meaning the graphics of the design produces a bowed plane where there are curves.
This is camera barrell distortion. The CLS really gets it bad sometimes because of the way it`s designed. It basically get judged from these barrell distortions because these images are not 3-dimensional like our vision.
When seen in real life 3-D, the car is stunning from any angle.
Some common cases of barrell distortions. (the newer MBs models usually get hit with the first example. That photo of the CLS63 has this type of distortion.)
