2013/2014 Garage Update

I'm guessing white, all shades of gray and red? :D Joking, the S1 really sounds promising. I'm considering myself an A1 among others. I'm not buying used as planned anymore.

Yeah, that's about it :D

PS: New or used both have its pros and cons... it really depends :)

  • Powered by new 2.0 TFSI engine channeling 231PS and 370 Nm through six-speed manual transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive
  • 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds, top speed 155mph, combined MPG 40.3, CO2 162g/km (three-door)
  • First Audi series production subcompact to employ all-wheel-drive
Is that what you're getting?? I was talking about the looks when I said promising, but this sounds sick! Even the mpg is great (I didn't have looked at the specs until now)

Used may not be an option since I would like to get my dad's help on some things, and he has some kind of used-o-phobia :(

My dad is the same :)

PS: Yes, that's what I'm getting. I need a small economical city car that I can take on a joy ride wherever and whenever I want :)
11MPG from the S65...

11 MPG!!? And I'm complaining about 24-30mpg. Even though my car is a 1.6 liter engine it's giving me 24 mpg only (I guess due to driving in traffic and uphill daily) or 31 downhill (My calculations may be wrong because you usually get less fuel tan you pay for here in Mexico ). I have to keep it on relatively high revs (3k's) for it to drive nicely uphill. I'm also considering a loaded Polo 1.2 TSI in the lowest end of my "future car" list. I think with the turbo it wil have the power to at least drive uphill with the A/C on :ROFLMAO:

Yeah same story with my 97 NA 60PS diesel Polo... it isn't as fuel efficient when loaded with 3 other guys... especially on uphill(Maybe does 13/100 while it's good for 4.5/100 when I'm alone and not climbing anything) NA's are not meant to be fuel efficient, you get a turbo for this :)

11MPG is good for my 712HP S65. I usually get 8-9 on a slightly more spirited drive :)

So it's down to this 3... the S6, C63 T-Model or M4GC if/when it happens(I would consider the M440i too)

Let me quote myself from the C-Class thread:

"I did test drive the new C-Class in the UK yesterday. I share exactly the same opinion as the guy from AutoExpress(I think it might have been the same car)
Engine and transmission are still failing. Steering feel is OK(for a Benz)... handling is good too. There's some sort of body-shake(not exactly a body-roll)... when you exit corners. Most prominent in the back of course.
Almost like the Traction Control doesn't know when to do what. It really kills most of the fun. The interior is a masterpiece... bar that screen which is a MAJOR fail. It's IN YOUR FACE!!!! The car looks great from some angles while it's quite ugly from other. I think the C63 AMG T-Model will fix all that.
Ride quality is class leading as expected. If you ask me... it's almost as good as an E-Class.
I'd wait for the C63 T-Model which I think will be the best Benz of this generation."

Get the S6! It looks way better (I say this as a C63 fan) You will probably have to wait a lot or the M4GC, so it may even work better to get the S6 and trade it for the M4GC when/if its released.

P.S. Got hit an hour ago, in an intersection, and it's my birthday haha. Just thought I would share

Hope that you are OK! Happy Birthday, man! No more accidents would be the best wish I guess :)

PS: I'll wait for the C63 T-Model and the S6 FL so there's plenty of time to decide :)
