This one?

This one but as i said some details are not 100% accurate you sould see the prototype and compare the lines. The Roof slopes slight inward in center for better aerodynamic.

The lights from the Estoque... but single instead of double Y LED shape.. But nicely done different in details than not Lp 560 and Estoque.

The Suspension on the car is something new more related to F1 cars using same Push-Rod technology..

Wow 700hp/690nm and 1575 kg..thats amazing

But geneva will bring a new Pagani aswell
and rumors say its up there around 700hp and that weight is kept round about the Zonda´s ( abit more though for homologation in us)..
And the Zonda is 1230kg

It will be an Epic battle :)

That's an admirable weight loss figure. The LP640 weigh 1665, so a 110kg decrease it is. Because the LP700 won't be based on a steel frame like the Murcielago it will be much improved car that won't see itself being out performed by 911s and other cheaper sports cars.

Also, this car will mark the beginning of the end for the Veyron. The LP700 will offer roughly 80% of the performance at 25% of the price and owners expenses.

Its because of the NEW Carbon Monocoque.. Its weighs almost 225 kg less than the Murcielago...

While I agree with you on just about everything I am a little surprised we have heard very many negative remarks towards the switch to Haldex for the awd system.

Honestly, I'm not sure how much that matters though. I'm pretty sure it's not your run of the mill Haldex system and it's probably modified specifically for Lamborghini.

When you are using their most advanced version then I would imagine it's software which alters the behaviour as much as anything else. I would reckon they learned a lot with the Veyron project, clearly torque handling capacity wasn't an issue. ;)

What you see here will become the next R8.

I may be mistaken, but doesn't the Murci and Gallardo use a Haldex system. Also, if my terrible memory serves me, the Veyron uses a Halsex system.

The biggest difference is that the Lamborghini will be RWD by nature and the Haldex system is used to send the torque to front axle under dire conditions - exactly opposite of the way Audis and VWs with Haldex which are FWD by nature.

Thats what I'm saying. They're making it work for them, and giving us drivers the fun.

The Haldex LSC is a terrific piece of kit - without question one of the finest components created for AWD systems. So, don't judge Haldex the supplier or the component but rather the application. Sunny said it. FWD-biased AWD that makes use of Haldex is quite the opposite to the rear-mid engined application wherein the drive bias is all to the rear wheels until traction begins to be lost. Well, what more could one ask for?

Correct. In fact the company Haldex have their fingers in all forms of things which are quite interesting with AWD being but one.

One thing is certain, the next R8 will use it and when the R4 mid-engined sportscar gets the go ahead it will also be equipped with Haldex.
