In a word ...DREADFUL!

There is so much about this design that is just wrong.

To be perfectly honest, I would be extremely surprised if BMW would consider this to be good enough .....it just has nothing particularly attractive going for it at all. The Mercedes ODC is looking better and better.

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

Not sure if i like those extended wheel arches!

Other than that it look ok, the rear looks good. I'm sure or hope the really thing will look different to this! Also I hope that not too much of the design is shared with the 7er, it has got to be different enough to demand the higher cost over the 7er!

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

This is a horrible & completely off CGI - nothing to do with real RR Silver Seraph design.

Well, I`m not completely against the design. The foundation is pure Rolls..
with some distinctive touches that set it apart from the Phantom and Drop Head.

Now, I might be wrong here but I really believe Rolls Royce will go for some kind of Fender treatment much like we see here. The powerful status is there.
It has way more class than the Bently Flying Spur or any of the excutives from Germany. I know it`s only a CGI but I`d be willing to bank about 90% of this CGI is correct. Rolls Royce is not going to go with some trend setting, "techno" breakthrough design like we see from Germany, thats a BIG no no with the King.. we will indeed see much familar design themes Rolls is currantly using now. This is what Makes Rolls Royce the King of it`s Class.

Don`t look for cutting edge design guys.

I can`t imagine how well this new model will sell cause most everyone wants to get their hands on a Rolls Royce. This news is amazing!:eusa_clap

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

Pure bullocks!!!!! The only good thing about the CGI is the front. The information is pretty off too. A 380hp version? Hell no, there is no way anyone would want to pay over 200k for a car with such little power.

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

the car will come with a V12 only, and no turbo and no diesel, it will aslo not be a phantom derivative in design, it will be an RR deisgned and built for the 21st century
of this i am quasi certain

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

hmm...i thought it looked quite good
They should keep the suicide doors though

Suicide doors will be there on a real car.

Mind this is just a stupid CGI.

Baby RR won't be a baby Phantom! It will have it's own styling. This CGI is too much Phantom like.

Yeah, I think the Phantom would need a power boost to make way for this baby RR. As much as I would like to think that the power's sufficient, it never is.

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

Looking at Bentley, the smaller model has more power!

This could be because it's more of a drivers car!

The V12 will remain the mainstay of the Phantom series... The Seraph series will use a specially designed for RR update of BMW's V10 engine as found in the M5. The V10 has the exact and sufficient power requirements needed for the Seraph. The design brief for the Seraph is a Rolls-Royce for the future and it is less bulbous than the Phantom , Maybach et all and more sleeker - see my earlier reports....

But as for that design? No dude that's nothing like it.
Thats like ...like Superlame!

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

I dont think there right about those engines--i mean isnt BMW going to start turbo charging those engines for better mpg? I would guess that the next V8 in the 7 will have DI and two turbos...

That was what I thought as well.

Re: --->>> 2010 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow <<<---

The front 3/4th view looks very Rolls-Royce, but the rear 3/4th view is awkward.

Interesting. So I'm guessing less than 500bhp, and 550-600Nm torque? :eusa_thin

The rear photo is absolutely excellent. Now the Front....the headlights need to be re-done.

Excellent Idea RR!
