Not sure if its a repost but this car is shaping up very nicely. Looks like the best bits of the E60 and E39 but I see more E39 presence in the interior and exterior and it looks great. When are we going to see first official pics?

The touring model is in FEP. Looks very sporty, also showed up in dual pipes. Can't wait to see the M5 Touring.

Really looking good. Only slight concern is the rear but I think the proportions are spot on. And I still see a little E39 in it.

I thought the same. Seems to be a lot of E90 in it as well, especially from the side-profile.

Hmmmm, that's two now. I see more E39 than E90. I suppose the very short front overhang is more 3er but I really like it. I also like the transition from rear window to the trunk.

Exactly! Even though I hate the 3 series with a passion, I still think the side profile looks remarkable. At least they didn't box it like the E-class.

I think it's right. The shape of the F01 works great for a large saloon, but the 5-Series is not a saloon -- it's a dynamic sedan. Therefore a chunky shape similar to the XF is just about right.

It does looked more of E46 profile, especially on the rear door/quarter panel line along with Hofmeister Kink, seemingly a E46 5-Series if BMW had released one.

What i can see is a aggresive front, the sideprofileis , BUT the rear is tooooooo much e90

I have taken a pic with mi mobile phone to the latest F30 3er render Huck has made for Autobild. EnI told us that this was more the new F10 5er than the F30 3er, and the rear looks like what EnI has showed us with the paint.

The car's that have been spied are 530d's. When the 5er is launched , the smaller engined cars will have exhausts on one side but 535i upwards will receive Twin exhausts on both sides of the car with larger petrol models receiving the same squared off ports like the 7er and of course the 5er Gran Turismo.

I guess that's just extra incentive to settle for nothing less than a 535i if I ever buy the F10 5-Series!
