2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued.

The rear of this car is my only fear.... It seems like instead of being upright like the current one it will b sloped forward like the CLS... The tailights look like a mix between the clk and cls, and I don't like how it looks like the white reverse light will be on the outside of the light cluster.

Re: Best rendering yet

will the upcoming CL-class make its debut at Geneva?

Re: Best rendering yet

hi, im quite new here. i have folllowed the new cl with much interest. But what the heck has happened, its like everything has gone stagnant with the new cl. No new posts in 12 LONG days. There are no new pics or info. Originally i heard geneva, now maybe new yoork or paris. i also read on another board that it is going to be released in oct. This guy seemed to know what he was saying.

Re: Best rendering yet

Yea, what's up with this, no new spy shots??

MB should've hired Hussein to design the C216 :D . Look at this:

It should've looked like that!

Those are nice, but too swoopy for a CL I think. Maybe the next generation will look similar to that in 2013.

looks to me as though there taking some design ideas from the CLS. I think this car is going to be hot. If it has the S style fender flares it will really be good looking especially if it looks like that chop 4 or 5 post above.

wow what have happenned to this thread ....

i was just checking the latest spy picture ,, and looking at this picture , the rear lights look small , they look SLKish , but overall and when they take the camo of the car will look great . i cant wait

I think it looks pretty damn hot in that photo. The lines flow so smoothly!

I don't think I'll like this car to be honest. I thought I might at first, but my growing distaste for MB and many of it's pointless cars grows stronger everday.

hmm deutsch.. i dont understand that comment..pointless cars??
are you meaning that this car is one of the pointless..the CL goes back a very long time..and is one of the gr8est images for the MB brand..
its imo faaaaar from pointless..but of course you have your own opinion..

what have happenned to this car why is it taking very long ,,, not even a single spy picture????????? since like 2 months

yeah man i was about to post the same.. where is the car.. i want to see it bad.. bring it on:D

The present CL is so amazing and graceful, I really don't know if this model will be as good. Such technology and luxury will be higher, but this design is so futuristic. Then again the S-class is a masterpiece so maybe I don't have too much to worry about.

HOH , nice to know you are here . We missed you , you are an MB fan so you are important to me .J/K:D

Whatever they did with this pic sure has uglied up the car compared to other spy photos right here in this very thread:

I'll wait for the official pics because this looks horrible. This pics in camo looks much better:

No way they're going to wait until December of this year to release this car with the current CL dying in nearly every market around the world. CL comes 6 months or so after the new S, not a year later. The engine choice speculation here couldn't be more wrong, a 3.7L V6 and a 6.3L V12, NOT!
