911 (997) 2006 Porsche 911 Turbo spy pics and info

The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (996). Successor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2004–2013.
Spanking aside, these cars are more of an enthusiast car! F430, Gallardo... etc. are more of a sexy, sporty, stylish car that looks exotic when parked outside of a restaurant or lavish hotel.

This is something the Porsche doesn't have in everyones eyes. To me its more of a track car, i respect it there more.

hmm i hipe it looks better than that.. caus that aint nice enough..

So Porsche useing a SMG, good to hear that. :usa7uh:

they are using a DSG type transmition but it supposedly won't be ready until a year or two into Turbo production.

They're the 997 911 Turbo prototype wheels we've been seeing everywhere. Because of their widespread distribution on test cars and not being used on any other cars elsewhere, I expect they will be the real ones, so I'm trying to make myself like them..

Anyhow, I don't mind the front of that PS. I just hope the side vents won't be so heavy handed as that, with that ugly 'grille'. Just because the mules have that grille doesn't mean the final one will.

I can't wait for the 997 Turbo, and GT3 - always amazing cars!

Slightly OT, but did you guys see the latest Best Motoring video where they compare supercars like the F430, Gallardo and a super version of the GT3 which was completely bad ass. Really great cars!
