I have seen a few interesting video lately of this remarkable sports car from Honda that debuted this legendary car company in the early 1960's.
This tiny tot of a car has an incredible 4cylinder engine, 606cm3 in case of the S600 and 791cm3 in the S800 that had roller bearing crank, DOHC, 4 barrel carbs and a massive 9500RPM redline in 1963!!!, Yes that is correct 9500RPM and produced 57HP (42kw) in the S600 and 70HP(51kw) in the S800 which resulted in performance that was quicker than cars with double the engine capacity at the time. A top speed of 100mph (160kmh) was achieved in the S800 and 90mph (145km/h) in the S600.
It was produced as a Roadster and later as a Coupe, Both were stunning and very small and light weight.
