Veyron 1232bhp Veyron 272mph topspeed.

The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engine sports car designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and Bugatti, and manufactured in Molsheim, France by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti. It was named after the racing driver Pierre Veyron.
I remember during the original development of the car the tyres that the Veyron was sporting had to be specially made to withstand the pressures at +400mk/h .... do you think the tyres were developed to handle this extra jump in top speed that the Veyron will soon have ?

Jump in power is the only thing we know right now. I think they'll keep the speed limit.

Implying that the power boost is simply to improve the already blistering acceleration the car possesses?

Damn, this thing's gonna put an F1 car in its rear-view mirrors one day!

Makes me wonder, the current Veyron is loaded with luxury amenities. What if they made an all out sports version with stripped down interior (ala M3 CSL compared to normal M3) and used more composite materials to lower the weight of the car. Any chance of that happening, or would the cost of development be a deterrant?
