Vote for your favorite Luxury GT 2-door coupe. Which has the most character or personality and sex appeal.
Include what you like or dislike with either. (What is a hit or miss as with interior and body design (even without sport-packages) in either one. Which is the most beautiful in sequential order.
Finally which one would you like to see in your driveway.

The CGT interior is stunning and i thought it's exterior looks great in pics till i saw one in person and it didn't actually move me like a nicely specced S63.

This one is easy.

If I want a sporty but comfortable car I would get the 911 over the 8-Series.
If comfort is a priority I would get the CGT over the S-Coupe.

Tough between CGT & 8... need some time to think over it. They are not in same price category though...

You don't drive many 911s do you?

And either way, the 911 imo doesn't really belong here in the list. it's a true sports car and the others and not.

They sure aren't, but people lately want to slap them together to make some sort of a point I think.

Are we counting out right sports cars like the 911 here?.. if that's the case i want F12 SF.. the most usable and comfortable V12 Ferrari yet. :D

The 8 is quite a desirable car. But the CGT is just beyond the bimmer in terms of class and interior design.

The new DBS might also be quite a thing exterior wise.

I know which one I'd take last... the Aston. The Bentley, the Bimmer and the Benz all have their ups and downs. Ask me again when the Alpina B8 comes out :D

Wait until the first reviews of the M850i come out, especially against the 911 Carrera 4S and the AMG GT(S) and then you will realise that the 8-series is way more of a sportscar or let's call it GT plus than say an S560 or Continental GT V8. This car has so much ///M-tech in it.

Edit: Sorry, but the 911 is like the Golf of performance cars. The current generation doesn't really do it for me. Epic driving machine nonetheless.

The Aston will look like crap once the DBS is released. The leaked front end and the spied rear and side profiles already look way better than the DB11.

"Austin"? o_O

911 Turbo for me thank you very much. As far as I know it also has great ride quality. :p

That is certainly subject to debate, Klier. Photographic as well as in-the-metal comparisons between 993 and earlier 911s'/Carreras versus 996 and later Carreras exemplify just how much these cars have grown in dimension, content and weight. Agreed...the "Elfer" remains very much a "sports car". But it could also be argued that it is the "most sporting" GT.
It is no longer a "little" car. And with the upcoming 992 Carreras allegedly measuring well in excess of 4500mm in length and at least 1850mm in width, the new 911 will closely match the exterior length of 1970s' family sedans such as the Ford Consul/Granada and Opel Rekord D/Commodore B and far exceed the aforementioned sedans width. Of course, the Porsche will remain far lower in height.

I ascertain that it is the Cayman that is Porsches' current "sports car".
