Hoover Dam

Shot this on Saturday at Hoover Dam. They are building a bridge from the Nevada side to the Arizona side which is 1300 feet over the Colorado River below. An engineering masterpiece. You can see both towers and the arch starting to be built to support the roadbed of the bridge.

Well well, the local airshow just happened to be in my hometown. I was about 15-miles from the air-strip when all this was going on. I should have been closer. Under a hot hazy afternoon I managed to get some photos from these guys. It wasn`t easy. These jets were going about 500mph, way too fast to get a good focus.

Yep, that's my daughter. Maybe the pic itself ain't something special, but taking in consideration my dreadful photo skills, this looks good to me.

The funny thing about this pic is the fact that my daughter wanted desperately to go to pee (hence the "hurry up" expression on her face) , but i insisted to take a pic because of her beautiful eyes in the 1st place, daylight and nice background.
