I'd rather wait for the premium than settle for a core if I was buying the system. Personally, I think I'll just wait for the PS3.

Seems like Microsoft really got one over Sony this time by being first to the market. Will the Sony system be enough of a marvel to make up for being second this time?

Rumors say Sony has been working on a 360 killing campain for months already.

Meh, I think it's better than nothing. Premium comes with the hardrive which is 100 bucks right there. But I mean, all it's good for is playing old Xbox games and storing music, none of which I do. Plus we bought a seperate wireless control system and HDTV cable.

It's not that much different.

I'll probably get both anyway, we'll see. I think Microsoft is going to really benefit by releasing earlier. Whether the PS3 will be that much better, no one knows.

Alex, if I were you, I'd wait until things calm down a bit. If it’s for you, I’d suggest you wait till after the holidays. I remember I waited a little longer than everyone else when I got my PS2 years ago.

The 360 is supposed to better for online game playing. It doesn't matter to me which one is better. I already have a 360 and will buy a PS3 as well.

360 has wireless controllers on the premium version, just look at the ps3 controllers......like boomerangs! and 360 has a hard drive as standard (premium)
and online.....well ps3 wont even match the orignal xbox live online service, as ps3 is going to have online but sony are not going to control it, so it will be more retarded than current ps2 online!! lol and also the other great thing about ps3 v 360 is thattttt the games take 2x longer on average to develop for ps3 than 360, and pretty much every review seems to point towards 360, even though it has slightly less power, ps3 is going to be released about a year later than 360 analysts expect!! ha ill still get both though lol! but seriously, ps3 will take a couple of years before the good games come out!
even comparing GT4 to forza, gt4 took 2x longer to make than forza and forza is the most realistic by far....Microsoft are going to win the console battle, they are going to keep pouring money at it until they take over! and ps3 will have no media center intergration like 360, updates within the next few years may come out turning 360 into a pc under your tv pretty much, but what will sony do? well they have linux lol! 360 all the way!!!!!!!

Today I visited my local Xbox dealer and they had a pretty good deal for me. If I trade in my xbox and my ten games I'll just have to add $170 and get the 360 with HDD, wireless controller, xbox silver and a headset. It seems like I'm gonna get hooked up.

Don't do it Alex, I know you are smarter than that. Be patient and wait for your package. Although the 360 seem to be awsome it still lacks top noch games which really makes you wanna rush out there and guy one. PGR3 is more or less the only game which makes me want the 360. Halo3 is yet to come but I'm going to buy it anyways since this is a perfect way for me to get someting out of my xbox which gets harder to sell for each day that goes.
