Hey guys , it's been a while since I was mixing it in the forums , finally got some free time :D . Anyhow , I thought it'd be interesting to know what each of us hate and love about each of the major 6 or 7 cars at MB , BMW and Audi , for example :
MB :
C-class : I love the front end , interior is ok , I love the overall look .
I hate the rear lamps .

This was just an example .... It's ok if you guys want to add in porsche or VW or something . Enjoy guys .

Interesting question to ask. Mercedes-Benz:

C-Class - Hated the initial interior, engines and most of all build quality. The gauge cluster in the pre-FL version was an absolute joke. Always loved the styling of the car. The facelift took too long and the engines weren't part of the first year of the FL. New engines should have been added at the time of the FL. New interior in FL version is a major improvement, but this should have been the interior from the get go. What I hate the most is that the FL seems to be too little too late because Audi and BMW have seriously updated or redesigned their cars in this segment. Still though I get a good vibe whenever I see a C230 or C350 in Sport guise as those cars are finally complete, if late. C55 is a monster.

E-Class - Love the exterior styling, interior styling, ride comfort, engines and just the overall presentation. Hate that it hasn't been reliable and has irked buyers from Dubai to Los Angeles. More on this AFTER I see what they do for the facelift.

S-Class - Was very worried about the new S' wheel arches, but after seeing the car in person in a variety of diffent colors I needed not worry. This car ranges from looking good (stock form) to being stunning (AMG Package or any of the optional wheels in place). I like the styling, whereas the W220 is still the "prettier" car, the W221 is more dynamic. I love the interior build quality, new V8, safety features. Hate that they mocked BMW's control layout.

SL - Have loved this car since 2003. The only thing I can say I truly dislike is that it hasn't been totally reliable. The FL puts this car in the limelight again just in time to battle newer rivals and likely beat them. Love the styling, engines, handling, ride, interior, hell everything. A unquestionable winner for a weary Mercedes-Benz. Edit: there was just one thing I hated about the pre-FL SL, that cheapo plastic hood over the gauges of the SL500. Terrible little piece or brittle plastic that felt like crap in the hand. The SL55 and SL600 had either leather or Alacantara instead. This appears to have been addressed with the FL of the SL550/500.

SLK - Nearly the same admiration for this model as the larger SL. What an improvement over the previous generation. Love the engines, styling, build quality and again the overall presentation of this car. Small, sporty and luxurious with dynamics to keep nearly everyone interested. Dislike the price, they aren't cheap.

CLS - Love the styling, engines, interior, build quality and what it has done for Mercedes' bottom line over the last year. I can't of anything that I truly dislike about this car. A marvelous image builder.

CLK - I absolutely couldn't stand this car when introduced for 2003. It lacked the pressed and creased look of the previous CLK, which had a tough enough time replacing the legendary W124 E-Class Coupe. This 2003 CLK however just had a blobby shape and in V6 CLK320 the most forgettable styling I'd ever seen on a Benz. Hated it. Then came the facelift. Larger wheels, different grille, revised bumpers/lights etc. Better. The CLK500 with its standard AMG bodykit always looked better to me, but now the CLK350 looks a lot better especially in Cabriolet form. Hated the pre-FL edition, especially the CLK320 version. Post-FL I like the styling a lot and the interior is greatly improved with some really luxurious/tasteful interior color schemes/options, at least for the U.S. market.

CL - The outgoing CL was my favorite Mercedes-Benz until the CLS. That is a very high honor in Mercedes-Benzworld! Loved the exterior styling, interior, technology and overall stance of this car. The pillarless design is just classic Mercedes styling. Like the SL or CLS there really isn't anything I "hated" about this car. The only thing I dislike is that this outgoing CL didn't ever seem to get the praise it deserved. This car is easily the classiest Mercedes design since the R129 or W124 Coupe. The new car has a lot to live up to in my eyes.
