Well it's true.
But the problem is that direct democracy is only posible in theory so the only thing that will happen in a classless would be chaos.
To prevent chaos organisation is needed, organisation leeds to hierarchysation leeds to stratification.
As I said a democracy with a constitutional monarchy is preferable to almost every thing else, it's second best.

All that aside I find him to be quite a good king and does great advertising for Sweden abroad. And his daughter princess Madeleine is hot so that makes it even better

Also if I'm not mistaking, the royal swedesh family of today are the descendants of JB Bernardotte, a simple french man who becamed one of Napoleon's mareshalls, and then was propled to the status of king of Sweden.
For betraying Napolen, the victorious great powers of Europe allowed him to keep the throne.

To me royalty is a waste of time and money!

In England, I think most people couldn't care less about the Queen, they have more important things in their lives! The Queen doesn't really have any power, and it is a position from the past! To be honest once the Queen dies, I can see the royal family falling apart because no one has any respect for the rest of the royal family! Prince Charles is a toser, and a lot of TV shows take the mike out of him (eg trigger happy tv). Then there's Prince William, who all the girls seem to like! I don't real like him, he does some stupid things, such as dressing up as a nazi to a fancy dress party. Considering our Royal family has links to Germany and during WW2, King George even gave information about our country to the Germans so dressing up as one isn't really a good idea! Then there's Prince Harry, who takes drugs! Need I say any more?

Prince Harry was the one who dressed as a Nazi.

Prince William is, by and large, a fairly well adjusted young man. Despite the media now seeming to consider him fair game, I think the general populace has a fair amount of respect for him. Although I hate to see the media or the general public fawn over anyone, I have to say I wish him the best. Nevertheless, I'll allow him to make mistakes and be human, just like the rest of us.

I agree SV - that is very reasonable of you. People have been very unkind and unfair about Charles and Camilla - I think if they looked like Brad and Angelina people would probably be a lot nicer about them ....they don't deserve most of the nasty criticism they get regardless of what some people think of royalty in general.
