Cape Town Scenic Views: 2006 Holiday 1

Hi guys, thought i would post pictures of the beautiful city of Cape town in my Home Country and probably 1 of the BEST Scenic Views in the World IMHO!!

tHIS was during my end of year holiday last year, and was an awesome adventure!!

Lets start of with the Table mountain that overlooks Cape town:

NOW for pictures of the famous cape point...The probably only point visible where u can see the meeting of 2 oceans and a major tourist Attraction:

Thanks for the pictures, there are some amazing views!

By looking at some of the pictures, it doesn't look like it was blue skys all the time!

That train going up the hill to the Cape Point lookout spot must be a new thing. It did not exist while I was there from 1974 until 1986. It's quite a hill to climb though. Good exercise....

But, Cape Town and environs is positively one of the special spots on this earth from the perspective of natural beauty and things to do
Too bad about the crime though

Cape town is famous for its, lets say creative weather, but we were lucky the whole week we were there 80% of the time it was nice sunny and warn except 4 table mountain ....Some of the cape point pics look hazy coz we drive during the early morning hours, just after sunrise so it looks a bit cloudy......Yeah, crime is a situat ion in south africa, especially johannesburg, but i must say in cape town crime is very much under control and almost non-existent in tourist places......
