Overall it balances though. Some people are better at sumo, some are better at conventional, some are about the same at both.They 100% are, its a different stance, the range of motion is significantly less, muscle groups are activated differently in both variations. The only thing that's the same is you're lifting the bar off the ground. If you think these are the same then I guess you see no difference between narrow and wide grip pull-ups??
