I think the arrival of a special edition with the 5-cylinder engine is pretty much confirmed; Misha Charoudin said in a video last year that he’d spoken to the development driver at VW R, who told him it would be a “sick car” and that internally they were calling it the “Golf RS”.

He talks about it at 9:20 and 10:19

Well the same counts for Europe lol
The ID Buzz still has the potential to be the best Van ever, but indeed some things need to change big time with a facelift.

Proper three rows of seats, ID Polo style interior changes (buttons!), between 10 to 20k cheaper, much more range, faster charging, etc.

This will combine the speed of the RS3 and A45 and with the dynamics of the Honda Civic Type R. Going to be a weapon.

Yeah but the engine never is the problem, it's the understeering platform that sucks, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

This year’s refresh already has buttons added to the steering wheel, and I assume next year the bigger changes come.

Just like its sister the Huracan RWD models, the Audi R8 RWD is the best models in each range. The most dynamic and fun to drive.

R8 was ahead of its time. The design still looks futuristic and unique which it is! Not Italian at all. Even the interior still looks aspirational.

You need to drive the Golf 1 and Golf 2 models they were very fun to drive. The latest Golf R and Audi RS3 has oversteer and is alot more fun than some other cars that pretend to be. The older Golf 7 GTi CS was also a fun car to drive.

I would love to have one of these ID Polo in my garage as a second car, it is my favorite VW model in many years. So happy VW have got their mojo back.

Unfortunately the colour palette on the German site is not so fitting for a youthful small car, only one yellow and blue and rest boring white, black, silver and dark grey.

I chose the Python Yellow exterior with very smart looking 18inch wheels (1025 Euros extra on top of 34K base)

The Life spec, needs more life it has only black interior. No choice of other seat materials only black cloth. Maybe the white interior comes later.

Very strange things, going with door handles like merc and range rover in mid 2026 with 2027 by chineze law will be removed?
Also if anyone test that display tech you will know that is too dim and it shows even here in showroom lightning , in direct sunlight that is gone( hopefully in this video the brightness was turned down manually..also why passenger display is not separated since it has a bezel anyway, if anything goes wrong with one of them you have to change both of them. On audi a5/6/q5 you can remove the passenger screen with the right tools by yourself
Hopefully everything is reliable because if it is then everything i said its futile and can be ignored

Id polo is a winer, sadly there will be no ice version. Next in line is the id polo gti and id cross
