You mean there is going to be a 1.4 liter version of this car? Is it the 1.4 or TSI?
Oh sorry my bad. 1.4 TSI it is, no 1.4l version.

The live shots give a different impression of the car compared to the official PR photos, it looks much better than when I arrived at my first impression, and I'm a little bummed now they aren't bringing it here. I hear when people say this will take sales away from the GTI, but if they bought the car over in limited numbers I think they'd sell every last one, and I have no doubt the Scirocco would command a price premium over the GTI, but the question there is how many people would be willing to pay $30k+ for a sport hatch in the U.S.? And this is where my anger begins with the choices Americans make for for the type of vehicles they buy and drive.
Don't worry guys, we won't be faced with these problems. Such is the joy of having currency that's worth less than Monopoly money.Looks pretty good, now we wait to see whether or not it will come to the U.S.

...If it were to be sold in the US, VW would only ship over the high end models which will command a 24-30k price tag. That itself is not a shabby price for a fine German quality car but in America it will fade next to the Mustang, Charger and all other American cars sold for a mere 20k with a powerful engine under the hood.

I'm loving that new VW front-end design language.

I didn't make the association I admit but yeah, I can see where you're coming from!Kinda reminds on new generation Mitsubishis, right?

As someone mentioned earlier, the door pulls are really interesting.
