We one of our German dudes to summarize that for us please:D

We one of our German dudes to summarize that for us please:D

I'm too busy this week and weekend to write a full report.

Let's just say that they as usual are praising the car. :D

I'll do that in one hour when I'll be able to see the video with sound (easier to translate, if you actually hear the comments...:D).

Finish order:

1. E-class
2. A6
3. 5-series
4. Jaguar
5. Volvo

So, what does that say:

The E-Class is very comfortable, but sportier as before; it has the best consumption, and is not the most expensive.

The Jag is 10.000€ more expensive, has some quality and finish issues, too much consumption, but addictive noise of the V8 and good equipment.

The Volvo has an even worst consumption, while featuring the weakest motor. Also not the best finish, but a FL is coming. However, it's the cheapest car and has a good equipment.

So, the Volvo (saved of the last place by the price/equipment) can compete with the Jag, but has no chance against the Benz...

The E-Class wins this first part of the test with ease.

But in the second part... it fights the german competition, Audi and BMW...

The Beemer is sportier, but its suspensions are noticeably harder (what a news!). Most powerful, not as good fuel economy as the Merc but still under 10l. Very expensive car.

The Audi costs 10.000€ less, even with only 6 cylinders. Second best consumption. Chespest of the three, while very good finish and materials.
The Audi tops the Beemer, because it offers more for the money.

And against the Benz?
While the E doesn't stand a chance in terms of price, it's a better, more modern car. The economic motor gives the last blow to the Audi.

The E manages to be the first: E als Erster (E as First).

Why did they use 540i with a V8 and not 530i in this test?
