Damn, missed an armoured car post/thread again. I have to get used to doing a search every time I log in.

Does anyone know more about the car being tested, type of armouring, level of protection, etc. . ? It must be a high-level VR6 or VR7 armoured car to withstand an explosive attack.

There are readily available weapons that can breach the armor, quite easily too. A light anti-tank weapon, a RPG fired accurately and other projected explosives likely destroys the passenger cell.

I still think an armored Phantom is a poor idea for those who really need such security. There are more discreet cars that are more common than a Phantom. No matter how strong the armor is, you really don't need to attract attention.
