The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (996). Successor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2004–2013.

I like the front; looks simple but purposeful. However, given the direction taken with Porsche's bumpers of late - the Cayman's front, and especially the GT3 track version front, I doubt it'll be so clean. Unfortunately. Heck, even the 996 Turbo looked more aggressive than this.
I like the side vents for the same reason; simple and clean and not overstyled. I think the Cayman's side vents are the limit in that department (sorry Luw

As for the rear, well, it looks a little odd. The body coloured area stretches too far down, though admittedly all the spy photos so far have the bumper going down there. Well, not too bad, then. Chunky like nobody's business.

Yeah the front is pretty nice. the bumper is defined but looks refined at the sametime, if you think about it, it suits the 997 since the car is very conservativerly designed. Still the 997 turbo will look more powerful since you should know a 911 Turbo when you see one.
As for the rear it looks too squat and the picture below is a better interpretiation of what the rear will look like.
