Ultimate Coupe Showdown!

M6 and AM is the cars I want - AM for the beauty and M6 for the driving dynamics.

Absolutley! The hottest of the group, and most appealing!

Thanks Roberto I appreciate that, the same goes to you :)

Guys no need to argue about it, as i see it some of u look at it with some flexibility like Just_me and my self, while some others stick to the definition. At the end it's what we think of the car, so no need to waste our times convincing each other :)

we can call it as Yannis said something between a sedan and a coupe and all be happy about it :D

The CLS isn't a coupe. And for some reason I prefer the regular CLS body kit over the CLS AMG version. :usa7uh:

THe reason I used the CLS over the SL coupe was because the CLS is more advanced in terms of handling and what not. The SL is a little to dated plus many believe that the CLS is a coupe.

I go with what Yannis said. The Mazda RX8 is a coupe, despite the fact it has 4 doors. Everything about it says coupe.

The CLS is a bit different, it's yet again a bit more sedan-like. However, I am satisfied with their reasoning and would call it a 4-door-coupe; or just a coupe, if necessary.

Like Just_me said, it's time to get out of a black-and-white world and accept that things change, and what once was clear cut is no longer. For a start, let's drop the dictionary stuff - they're only the measurers of language, not the rulers.

As for a fixed roof convertible - that's not really possible, IMO, because the fixed roof aspect directly contradicts the 'convertible' aspect, which is the sole defining criterion. I suppose that you guys might have just taken issue with the 2-doors thing, and made that your sole defining criterion for 'coupe'. So I'm not even going to waste my effort hoping that you'll change your point of view.

Oh yeah, and back on topic..

I think the Aston Martin is a nice car, looks great. The CLS can look nice, but it's not a car for me. SL would have been good though. M6 is ok, I could possibly appreciate it some of the time. A Porsche 911 would have been good, too - like many others, I'm hanging out for the 997 version of the 911 Turbo.

What strikes me most is how unattractive and dated the Maserati Coupe looks here. Sure, there's a newer version.. but not that much has changed. The shape is far from flattering.

I can add them if you like to the question, I havent made a pole yet any way.
For some reason I cant make a pole....Its not letting me or I'm not getting the option. I've done it before

very close race between the m6 and the am for me rite now...after seeing both cars in person id have to say that i would have to go for ther m6 just because in certain color combos the car just looks amazing

Although the M6 is really close in my choice, I think ths is going to top it all off. What an asbolutely gorgeous car.

Yeah the 997 turob will bring thunder to town. That car is going to be mad. I know a dude who owns a 977 carrera S and will instantly trade it in for the 997 Turbo when it hits town.

Those are my exact feelings about the M6 CSL. :eusa_danc

Just like the M3 CSL it is going to be a track car which makes it more or less interesting to me. I could care less about cars like 911 RS, CLK DTM and M3 CSL.

I do. I love such cars and would buy one if I could afford it.
