The yellow one in the back seems to be a Lexus.
It just shows the lineage

GR branding would be cool. However Lexus branding will be better for branding and prestige - an LFA successor if that's what Toyota will pitch it as.

Lexus branding and prestige sure.. but this model doesn't necessarily align with how Toyota is now positioning Lexus to be a energy conscious brand now and has no ICE RWD platform developments right now.

Are we looking at the announcement of a Toyota GR and also a Lexus (both similar GT coupes) or am I missing something?
1 car: a GR-branded supercar.

To be determined if it will be badged as a Toyota, Lexus, or GR only product. And also if it will be mixed nomenclature dependent on market.

GR is not a brand. Not going to happen.

It'll be a Toyota GR and that's honestly the way to go. Lexus is dead in the second largest car market of the world, so there's no point in marketing it as such IMO.

The teaser has GR and Century logos posted separately alongside Toyota, Lexus, and Daihatsu, making me think they're going to announce a new branding strategy expanding the GR and Century subbrands into standalones. IDK
I remenber that the Boss of Toyota group said he wanted turn GR into its own distinct brand.

The picture from the Fuji bill board has a GR logo clipped to the lower grille, so I think it'll be badged primarily as a Toyota (or Lexus) first, though I agree, it's most likely to be Toyota, like the Toyota GR010.

Update : Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda has confirmed that Toyota’s long-awaited GR GT will finally break cover before the year is out. The announcement came during a livestream, where Toyoda kept specifics under wraps but stated that the company plans to unveil its flagship supercar on December 4, a few weeks before its first public showing at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, which runs from January 10 to 12.
