The years 2009 and 2010 according to AMS

Mr Robert

Kraftwagen König
These are the news from BMW for the rest of the year and the next.

2009:

5-series GT
X1
7-series Hybrid

2010:
New 5-series sedan and Touring
X5 FL
New X3

Does anyone know if this list is complete or if we could expect something really exciting as well?

X3 is coming in Dec 2009 per latest info.
5-series in Spring 2010
X5 FL in late spring 2010
6-series in late fall 2010

Introductions:

X6 Hybrid (2009)
3er Coupe & Cabrio FL (2010)
new 6er (late 2010)
new engines, or upgrades (Z4, 7er, 3er C/C, X5 etc)
new special variants (Individual, M Pack kits etc) for new models (Z4, 7er, 5er GT, X1 etc)

There are still others to be mentioned but in regards to new product they are more or less accurate. Early June will see the launch of the new BMW X1 SAV whilst July will bring forth the BMW 7er Hybrid and 7er xDrive .
Plus inserts from the other BMW Group brands MINI and Rolls-Royce.

All this will be building up to the 5 world Premieres taking place at the IAA in Frankfurt this September on the theme of Relevance and Innovation.
The BMW Group will make the newly built Hall 11 home to it's respective brands BMW , MINI and Rolls-Royce. for BMW over 90 cars will be on display from the respective 1er , 3er , 5er , 6er , 7er , Z4, X1 , X3 , X5 , X6 , and M , BMW performance , BMW Connected Drive and BMW Individual. Again the main message concerns BMW "Efficient Dynamics".

^ Downsizing is not on your mind huh ;)

Do you know when this will happen and which engines will be introduced ? Will newer (N53) replace current (N52) engines ?

Probably the 326 hp I6 TT.
And later maybe even the new 4 cylinder TT engines....

Assumedly, the new 6 series will debut as convertible in the end of 2010. The Coupé will be supposed to come out in the midyear 2011.
Regards

Andreas
