2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S First Test: 911 or Hybrid Hypercar?
If the 918 Spyder is a hypercar, and the new Turbo S rivals its numbers, what does that make this 911?

So it's about 2,5 s 0-100 km/h and 10.1 at the quarter mile without rollout.

Amazing achievement from the 911 Turbo S, with "only" 710PS its knocking on the door to the hypercar club with a blistering 2.2sec to 60mph and 9.9sec 1/4 mile. Not far off cars producing 1000PS or more. If this car had 1000PS imagine how fast it will be!!!

7 seconds faster than second holy crap
I am quite shocked at the difference. I need to watch the video to know why the Lambo was so far behind. Unless the Vette was fitted with cup tyres and the Lambo not. In acceleration the Lambo is quite close to the Vette and with AWD would think it would at least come close.

BTW anybody else thinks that it’s really annoying not being able to see the laps in one piece without the stupid cuts and comments.

They should release raw video footages. Like the Supertest from Sportauto.

So maybe ~16.5s to 300 km/h without the spoiler. Insane.

Probably more like less than 15 seconds. That’s spoiler crushes acceleration more than I ever would have thought. From the unscientific YouTube videos the ZR1s seem to pick up ~5mph in the 1/4 trap by removing the wing. I also get how DeDe was deducing the time but clearly the car is dropping off in acceleration quickly above 180 and we just don’t have the data yet (since we only have 170 and 190). It takes longer to go from 170 to 190 than 0-130! So 300 could be below 17 seconds if 180 happens in sub 15. I’m sure we’ll see the full test eventually.
