Does anyone know if Sport Auto will post Nurburgring laptime of Porsche Carrera GT on new Michelin tyres? Gebhardt posted video that they will publish it. That was in October and still nothing.

Time flies: 20 years ago at Nardo the Enzo Ferrari sprinted from 0 to 300 km/h in 26,1 seconds or 1476 metres.
Now, the Revuelto reaches the same speed 476 metres and 8,4 seconds earlier... Insane!

In a virtual race the Enzo would cross the 1 km mark 2,4 seconds after the Lambo, travelling 22 km/h less.

Veyron SS + performance, way better looks and sound. Just fantastic.

Tyre grip has nothing to do with straightline acceleration, maybe a tiny bit at initial launch, but that's all.

And all the other 90s, 00s and 10s supercars with modern tires, for that matter!

Sport Auto have actually been doing a decent job. Apart from the upcoming Carrera GT test, they also tested the 964 911 RS on Trofeo Rs (although that lap time, and even just the cornering speeds, have shown that the lap time improvement we get with new cars is indeed not just because of the tires).
