Aero really kicks in over 250 kph, also the peak power drops after 10 seconds down to around 800 PS.Insanely quick from 0-100. But the advantage ends after that.

The Taycan GT seems alot slower at speeds above 250km/h than the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Lucid Air Sapphire, which hit 300km/h in about 15sec as per tests done in the US.Aero really kicks in over 250 kph, also the peak power drops after 10 seconds down to around 800 PS.![]()
He had a motorcycle accident, that's why the strange steering style.Another outlier is the 918 entry, which was driven by Horst von Saurma, with his ugly, sawing-like steering inputs (caused by him holding the wheel at 10:00 and 2:00). Still, I thought it'd be a shame to exclude it.
I compiled some Nordschleife data (<7:17 laps) from Sport Auto.

The C7 Z06 is the only wonky entry, because the magazine data panel doesn't quite match the onboard telemetry, and so I combined the two according to my judgement. Usually, the telemetry readout vs magazine data is ±1 kph, but for some reason the C7 was off by up to 10 kph on more than one section.

It's not a production-spec front splitter, they use "production-able spec" in their Weibo PR statement, which is most likely not going to be road-legal in China, the car that was already on sale in China is with much less aggressive front splitter. As for Xiaomi, they will hit the track early next year for the lap time attempt with full production SU7 Ultra, and continue developing both production & time attack cars on Nordschleife for the next 10 years at least. That's incredibly slow, but at least they did it with a production car, not with a "GT3" version on slicks like Xiaomi did with the SU7.
Apart from that, I wonder when we are gonna get the Mustang GTD and Corvette ZR1 lap times. I certainly hope it's not gonna be the case similar to many previous years and attempts where nothing materializes in the end because the laps didn't beat Porsche or something.
It's starting to look like a paid promotion of GCFFamous again! Ongoing collab?!!?!

Something didn't add up with the acceleration data... I've seen these numbers, the ones over 200 kph.
I dug deeper in my database and surprise-surprise, the acceleration figures of the 750S over 200 kph are identical by the tenth to the ones they've managed with the 720S...
You can see the acceleration graph is strange AF, because of this weird mash-up. I know AutoBild is a "liar", but now it's AMuS' time?
The car was obviously performance tested in Hockenheim by Sport Auto, therefore no high-speed acceleration data (like 0-300) was available, so they went the easiest way around that problem: they used the ones for the 720S...

I was gonna ask if the weight wasn't supposed to be 1595kg, but this is actually the "4" version, so the claimed weight in that case is 1645kg. Still, quite the porker for only being the GTS. Let's see how much the hybrid Turbo weighs.![]()
