Pictures The Most Beautiful Automobiles Ever Produced

Obviously, beauty is completely subjetive and everyone has his/her own definition of beauty. I personaly think, that a car to be called "most beautiful ever produced" have to 1) past the test of time and 2)has to evoque some sensual feelings.

So I won't choose any supercar for the list, they're wonderful and are the stuff the dreams are made of but at the same time they are brutish, macho and "industrial". Even worse for SUVs, and also I saw practically every modern BMW/Merc/Audi and very little of the classics one.

Even more amazing, how in the earth people forgot about the Maserati 3200 GT ????

Or Alfa Romeo Spider?

CONCEPT OF THE DECADE....

The LFA is far from beautiful. There is a huge difference between sporty and beautiful.

Well first of all styling is the most subjective aspect of any car, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However I do agree that their is a massive difference between beauty and sportiness. BUT, if you know an awful lot about cars like most people on this forum, then its hard not to let knowledge of how good or bad a car is sway your perception of how good it looks. I can imagine many BMW and Audi fans thinking the E30 and Ur Quattro are beautiful or at least good-looking because they are the defining and most loved cars of their respective brands.
But anyway this is what I think is "beautiful"

Just saw a red Z8. While it is love or hate, IMO it is the most timeless car ever built. Maybe its rarity also helps with that.

I have become a big fan of Renault Alpine A110 in recent months. What a beautiful car. I think it is there right below Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale in my list of most beautiful cars.

My uncle had an Alpine A110. Sadly, he died in an accident in that car.......

On the other hand, altough the exotics and coupè list seem to stretch forever, I like to post the nicest sedan's faces I've ever seen:

BMW: (to be honest, any separated, dual headlight BMW drives me crazy in love)

And of course, Alfa's finest front in the last 30 years:

There are so many automobiles produced over 125 years that its very hard to pick one or few. Each era also represent different design themes and car design has changed a lot over the years. For me the 1950s and 60s were the most desirable times of car design. So many companies produced so many beautiful cars during that time. I dont find cars designed in 2000 and beyond very attratctive with very few exceptions such as Porsche latest 911 and Ferrrari Italia. Few favorites are:

Sorry to hear that.

I share your love for BMWs with the exposed quad lights. Wish they would bring it back. Also love the 2 Mercs. 500E is probably my favorite modern Mercedes - personifies the solemness I love in a Mercedes. Pity it is lacking these days.

No big deal Sunny, that happened when I was very small.
BMW keeps some of the quad lights identity with the LED rings, altough I wish they could make some proper round ligths, like Alfa did with the 159 (it would be wonderful to 'shop BMW kidneys into that Alfa and see....)

Agreed with the Mercedes look. The W222 tries to come close, but the lights are too laboured and complex, IMO.

Have a great weekend!

Watching Clarkson having fun in the F12 Berlinetta (TG S20) I had a flashback. what better place to post a photo of that flashback: 1984 288 GTO:cool:
