TV The Grand Tour

TV shows, streaming, documentaries, series discussions, recommendations, and premieres.
Considering they started shooting last year, November seems nice.

It`s so great to have two car shows (TG and GT) that almost overlap. Best thing that came off all the drama.

Richard Hammond was involved in another serious crash. He's ok.

Damn, they are running some bad luck this season. First Hammond crashed with that bike in Africa. A day prior to this, Clarkson's Aventador S broke down and now Hammond got into a wreck again.

"I'm going to die" - Watch Richard Hammond explain how his crash happened

Richard Hammond is back in the UK and able to look back on his crash with good humour.

The Grand Tour presenter met with Rimac CEO, Mate Rimac, to review data from the Rimac Concept One, and relive the moment he left the track and hurtled 100 metres down a hill, narrowly avoiding crashing into a house.

Jeremy Clarkson nearly died from pneumonia. Maybe the wrong add this to this post, but kind of suprised he's only 57; that's what smoking like a chimney can do to you.

I'm not a Times subscribers, so it's a excerpt:
Jeremy Clarkson: When I went to hospital, I was at death’s door. But a far, far worse fate awaited me

In all my adult life I’ve never been ill. Oh, I’m sure my children have found me in a white-faced heap on the kitchen floor from time to time, and they must have heard me calling for God on the porcelain telephone, but they’ve never seen me in bed, whimpering and pleading for soup.

I’ve led an idiotic life filled with smoking and danger and germs, but despite this I’ve never taken a sick day. I’ve never had an antibiotic. I’ve never had food poisoning. I’ve never broken a bone, and I sure as hell have never spent a night in hospital.

I’d always hoped that when the luck ran out, I’d catch something exotic, something that would cause a doctor to harrumph, reach for…

The serie is a complete flop isn't it??

So, exactly like when they presented TG.

In terms of viewership on Prime, it's one of the highest viewed shows on the platform, so it's technically a big success. Production quality is on another level compared to TG.

In terms of Jeremy/Richard/James, their reputation from the heyday of Top Gear precedes them and it is now writing checks they're not always able to cash. Many of their antics and jokes feel forced.

And it's kind of annoying how their audiences laugh at everything they say.

"Live And Let Die" Top 5 best theme song of all time.

Looking forward to the new season. Hopefully they get rid the fat stereotypical American driver; nothing about the concept was humorous.
