The coolest cars in movies (top 20)

Most idiotic list I've seen in a while....

This is number 1:

Pontiac Trans Am [face_puke]

No cars like te black Lambo Murci Roadster like in Transporter 2???

Excellent list... although I had never even heard of a film called 'Bamse'. The emphasis is on American 'classic' films, but that's fine by me. Hey, when I was 10 years old I thought a Trans Am was the coolest car in the world... :D

Same here! :usa7uh: And i've had lot of scale models of it. Hmmm, that probably justifies my love towards designs of big coupes/GTs and my "hate" for designs of Lambos, Ferraris, etc.

:t-cheers:

Oh this topic reminds me, has anyone seen Munich? They used the Citroen DS quite extensively. (If it isn't the DS, it's some other vintage Citroen) But it was way cool.

I think it's a stupid list as well. Why are they dominated by American cars? I know most movies of note are produced in Hollywood, but come on... There are several nice non-American cars in Hollywood films. The blog has a link to www.imcdb.org and it has screenshots from hundreds, if not thousands, of movies, tele shows. It's a cool site, which (just for the record) I am in no way affiliated to.

I haven't seen all of Munich, but I believe the car used was a Series Two CX. I might be confusing it with another movie though because I've seen a few movies recently featuring the CX.

Any other lists? Here's mine:
10) Fiat Dino Coupe (the mob boss' coupe in the original version of Italian Job)
9) Rolls-Royce Mulliner Park Ward Coupe (Thomas Crown Affair original)
8) Peugeot 604 Heuliez (limousine in one of the Bond movies)
7) Armoured Chevrolet Suburban (Clear and Present Danger)
6) Citroen CX (several movies, John Woo's The Killer)
5) Lincoln Diamond Jubilee coupe (Dallas tv-series)
4) Mini Coopers (Italian Job original version again)
3) Aston Martin DB5 (Bond's car)
2) Ferrari 275 GTB/4 (Gone in 60 Seconds)
1) Mercedes 450SEL 6.9 (Ronin, though I'm not certain it's a genuine 6.9, but the special edition dvd says it is)
