"Interesting"...

Some interesting albethem (probably subtle and very selected) "hints" regarding Audis' future design direction.

Not "blown away". More...well...curious.

If what they want is to get into a new segment of full minivans, it seems more than right to me, none of the Germans are in it and Audi needs to do this kind of thing, open its mind and expand.

Perhaps it is a resurgence of the segment, which I think KIA dominates today.
It is a bit "American" but they have always ruled in the category, it is a beautiful design as such

This concept is so garbage that it makes the BMW mole rat grill look good.

No offense, but only Chinese would want something like this. Audi is delivering them in boat loads with this showcase.

Try to erase the illuminated grill shield, excessively "glassed" pillar DLO area and the illuminated rear "shield" from your mind, and you'll find well-executed flanks, wheelarches and bonnet sculpturing. Those are the elements that I would like to see replicated on future production Audi offerings. The rest is overly dramatic tinnef that can be binned.

The "invention" of the transparent ceiling slats, returns to give this concept the same touch as the previous sodoupe.

Make it look like the most sporty cool Minivan on the outside, without losing any sense of interior space and lightness / visibility

It's a great idea destined to become a reality in production form.

Clearly a design study created with significant input from a primarily Chinese target group. It's more than questionable whether it will come to fruition as a production vehicle. And if so, it's almost certain to be a "China only" product. We may, however, see very isolated design elements appearing on future Audi products.

Kolesa.ru is a good illustrator methinks. Whether the images are simply vapourware or not is something that does not bother me much.

Quite conceivable as a production "Suvanadan".

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
