It’s an Audi unlike any other, and as of today, the e-tron GT is now on sale at dealerships across Europe. The fully electric Gran Turismo is available in two models, in both cases with all-wheel drive. As the Audi e-tron GT quattro, it has a starting price of 99,800 euros in Germany. The RS e-tron GT is available starting at 138,200 euros.

It is sublime in that color

Having had the opportunity to briefly inspect the eTron GT "in the metal" recently, I must say that the car oozes presence with its' exciting proportions (low, long and wide). However, some details appear a bit hamfisted (front wing vents and protruding doorhandles are particularly annoying to the eye). And Audi may be well advised to expand its' selection of available 21" (and perhaps 22") rims as the current offerings, save the 21" with the snap-on matte silver aeroblades, are not very attractive. I suggest the 22" RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback variants as additions. And the standard colour selection should be expanded as well.

After my "real life" encounter, I can't say that I'm disappointed per se. But still...somehow...I was expecting better. Something akin to the most beautiful 4 door sedoupe ever.

...oh yes...Audi should also offer a "Glanzpaket" for the eTron GT. Satin silver sideglass trim would look very appealing paired with many body colours and cater to those customers who may appreciate that more "traditional", older-school elegance. It works very well on the eTron GTs' sister car, the Porsche Taycan.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
