The Apple vs. Samsung Thread

Ashamed that their 2 year old phone that's about to be replaced by the biggest selling phone of all time next month, gets slightly *reportedly* outsold by the brand new best offering from Samsung? Ashamed that it's by copying their own blueprints of which they just proved in a Court of Law?

Considering what people consider to be "used against" Apple, it's just shocking as to HOW fueled the "iHater" mind frame is against Apple. I've never seen anything get such vitriolic anger against a company as I do from those who hate Apple.

Remember, Samsung DOESN'T report actual sales when reporting their GSIII numbers, they simply state phones shipped. Apple from what I understand only counts ACTUAL sold items (again, Samsung, not known for honesty), so you just might need to hold of on that happy dance.

Also, last year, the iPhone 4 DID get "beat" by the Galaxy in its final months, and we all know how the 4S did (took Samsung until August, one month before iPhone 5 to slightly outpace it). Not really big news here.

Well I guess it's only fair that Fandroids get to smile for once. Not to worry, iFans still have their perma-smiles on, after all. iPhone 5 will come out and that thief Sammy could once again tout just a month or two of sales "supremacy" over a phone a month before its replacement.

Pretty incredible that iPhone 4S still sells so well though, you've gotta say. Especially considering the spankin' new GSIII *finally* inched past it. Stop reaching for straws and go after the big pot.

C'monn now, seriously, you're celebrating the fact that thieving Samsung copycats MIGHT inch past the iPhone in sales during the LAST month of the iPhone 4S? You consider that something worthy of celebrating?

Now, if iPhone 5 launches, and the GSIII outsells it after 2-3 months of initial hype, then yes, that's something that anti-Apple's can celebrate. Remember, the old iPhone 4S STILL outsold the GSIII during the GSIII first actual months on the market.... it wasn't until the *TIPPING POINT*, weeks before iPhone (so everybody will wait for it) 5, that the still spankin' new GSIII finally surpassed it. Really nothing but a headline grabber to feed Apple haters.

HOH, indeed, iPhone 5 must impress. I think it'll be great. Apple products are rarely truly understood or revered after announcements, but it's when one can really get up close to one, admires its material quality, seamless user experience, etc., that one can truly get a good feel for one.

You enjoy your apples, i'll continue to enjoy everything that comes from Samsung, from smartphones, TVs, tablets, etc...

Wow, so going after someone for stealing from you, is being a "whiny bitch" huh. I guess if someone decided to one day break into your house and steal from you, they would be met with a "handshake". Actually, what Apple did was the opposite of whiny, they showed they had balls and asked Samsung to man up.... Of course, Sammy just cowered and shadily bumbled around, and the rest is history.

Apple have nothing to be ashamed about, as nobody in their right mind would buy a 4S with the 5 out next week. Therefore, Apple is probably "smiling" themselves, knowing that it took Samsung's brand new best offering until the 4S's last month, on a 2 year old chassis, to outsell it.

Again, not much to celebrate other than feeding of the anti-Apple hounds.

.... Oh, speaking of Tablet's, even blatantly ripping off the iPad hasn't gotten Sammy within a specs reach of the iPad. How many more Emails between Samsung executives about "copying the Apple formula" and determining how many Galaxy Tabs get returned because customers were duped into thinking they were iPads, will it take before they gain more than a dust fragment of market share there?
