Not directed towards you.. I have never taken car advise from college student and his clickbait videos continue to prove why I don't.
Point well taken...then again, though, the Ford Gt is still my least favorite, as the layout looks weird and not so ergonomical, while I still positively despise that steering wheel

$100k+ build uality is noticeably absent in the i8's interior. Matte and silver colored plastic galore.

You're absolutely right that the i8 interior is awash with plastics, and the R8, for instance, is light years ahead of it inside..That said, the i8 is not a supercar to begin with, hence the exclusion from this thread

P.S. Is it me, or are the other supercars here make the Porsche meter cluster look BIGLY (see what I did there? :p) outdated?

Its not outdated, its classic and timeless! :D

I would say the McLaren is the nicest one, followed by the R8.

I'm confident the 992 interior will be my top choice once it debuts, especially after having seen the new Panamera interior.

+1 ...McLaren is head and shoukders above the rest for now IMO, but I'm patiently waiting for the 992 interior to be revealed as well

1) Ferrari 488 GTB
2) McLaren 720S
3) Ford GT
4) Lamborghini Huracan Performante
5) Audi R8 V10 plus
6) Porsche 991.2 Turbo S

Just realised i haven't listed my most favorite to least favorite!

1) R8 v10 plus
The design mixed with the level of quality is just out of this world! Well, correct me if im wrong, but I guess it has that solid audi feeling, at least i expect it to have since i've never been in one...

2) 991.2 turbo s
Some of u in the forum know that i have this obsession with build quality over everything on the interior, Porsches are cars i used to just walk by and not give a damn before joining the forum seeking info on perceived quality of some cars. But then, lots of members told me Porsche build quality is as solid as it gets and all, so i started lookin at porsches more and more, and i've fell in love with the Turbo S which replaced my lambo dream, hence my profile pic... The interior for me, just looks pretty ordinary, guess for most of u as well, but there's a classic, timeless vibe to it, one i have come to love!

3) 720s
Love the design, not so sure about build quality... Previous mclaren owners say it is a huge step foward... But those are mostly youtubers, at least the one i've seen, soooo yeah, not that sure... Love the car tho!

4) 488 gtb
Love the materials, dont know much on build and perceived quality. Hate the center console separated from the dash... the thing of the passenger being able to see the pedals just doesnt appeal to me... feels like there's something missing.

5) Huracan
Im not even goin to comment on the performante's interior, and here is why... Design wise, the huracan looks crazy good! Build quality wise, well it might be solid, but from my research, there is a crap ton of plastic everywhere! I just can't get over that! I mean, the r8 is pretty much the same car, but more refined and with an audi badge, and honestly, i would go for the audi without even giving the huracan a second glance! Because of materials alone!

6) Ford GT
A nice lookin ford, but... still a ford, still american, which probably means bad build quality and materials... Also, not a fan of the interior design...

BTW, this is not the topic, but i found it would be relevant to put here as well...
Interiors apart, the order for my favorite cars here would be

1) 991.2 turbo s (duh)
2) 720s (love everything about it, just cant replace the Porsche with it, dont ask why, there is no racional explanation)
3) 488 gtb (Love the design, the heritage... Cant say the same about ferrari itself for all their rules and stuff. And I know this thing is fast as hell, but isn't it a bit too far from its competition if you consider it is still a new model? I mean... sure, the huracan is worst, but the 720s...)
4) R8 V10 Plus (I might not always care about the badge, but with a porsche turbo s and a mclaren on the table... yeah, audi gets 3rd!)
5) Huracan (Damn lambo with all that plastic in a 250k car!!)
6) Ford gt (AMERICA! F**k... nope!)*

*Dont get me wrong, i love the US in many ways, i just cant come to love their cars... Bikes? Yeah, those are cool, but i wouldn't own one over a Ducati, MV or Triumph...

It feels very well-built and solid, in typical Audi tradition on that department, and speaking from personal experience, I must say that I absolutely loved the full TFT screen. The only drawback is, like most other VAG interiors, it feels a little too sanitized, and far from exotic...And if you pay this much money for a car (even though the R8 the cheapest of the bunch here), I guess a little zest, a little gimmick and a little exoticism wouldn't hurt

3) 720s

Right before I stepped into the 720S, even though I had really liked the exterior look (both pictures and ESPECIALLY in the flesh), I was worried about this one, so I decided that I was going to play with all the switchgear/knobs until I get tired, try the new infotainment screen, the foldable speedometer (as well as its folding operation itself), check the trim closely and even feel the haptic sensation of the DCT paddles. I am pleased to report that it surely exceeded my expectations, it feels as well-built as the top dogs in this segment, and the design feels super modern and crisp. Even though I had reservations previously, I'm now a fan. Therefore, in my humble opinion, I cam testify that those previous McLaren owners you are mentioning are absolutely right, it really is a huge step forward from the build quality of the 12C and so on

Good to know! The audi does have a bit of a clinical look to it, i agree, not as much as the 911, but it does! But u know, as i mentioned, my first criteria to interiors is build and perceived quality, then design... And about the 720s, glad to know it is well built as youtubers mentioned! I honestly never get the chamce to see these cars here in Brazil... Of all of those, the only one i can really talk about is the 911, been into a Carrera S cabrio a couple of years ago, a 991. And on audi, i've been into a few, being them the RS3, Tt convertible and A1. I know, totally different cars to the R8, and i supose even in build quality, but, i wouldnt expect the r8 to be inferior in build quality to those, and i found those already pretty solid! Specially the RS3, which for me honestly felt really close to the feeling i had in the porsche for perceived quality!
