Didn’t Ola Kallenius said some time ago, there would always be an E with classic grill? (In designer talk: exclusive line) I’m sure he did, but can’t remember where I’ve read it.

I'm a bit concerned that the front-end will look too similar to the AMG GT4D. What a way to erode exclusivity.

Very short term strategy. The GT4 has the best looking front end in the line up. MB should treasure it not copy paste it in the rest of the line up.

The GLC facelift will be getting the similar headlights as well.

I really don't understand why MB feels they need to apply such a significant face lift to their iconic car.

Oh hell no. The current headlight design is much better not to mention very unique to the E and please keep the rear stardust lights and don't go the mainstream LED tube look.

I mean, in general, this doesn't look terrible, but I highly doubt any of that will be the end result. Especially the entire front, I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah. The grille and bumper designs are likely to be different.

The front lights will most likely imitate the look of the new GLE lights with 2 bar DRL, not sure of the shape but will most likely be slimmer. Rear lights maybe follow similar to S-class with some dusk till dawn stardust elements.

I would say the front lights will look less aggressive than the GT4 and GLE ones. Mind the new E light will still be based on the current, rounder lamps.
