Ford Scorpio Nextgen.......
Can’t unsee this now

The rear - This is not "sensual purity", more like "wtf?", if this is "sensual purity" then it needs to change. I'm not paying £100k for that....I have the current E63s, I didn't like it at first, now I love it but this, if I was responsible for this, I'd put it up for adoption. Mugged some front lights off a glc, added a touch pad and new steering wheel and ruined the rear, i'd rather crash mine and drive it about than have something that looks like an A class from behind. What haveeee they done. This coming from a life long mercedes fan. the only good thing, they kept the trapezoidal exhausts!! more luck than judgement. Wagner needs to stop spamming instagram and focus on what the design team are up to.

Haha, I was trying to be nice and diplomatic when I said "Audiesque" but, yes, I too saw striking resemblances to Euro/Asian hatches and family sedans. I wasn't too crazy about this new rear light motif on the GLS or the CLS as well. Oddly enough, I am fine with it on the A and the GLE. My opinion is that for the upper crust Benzes I'd rather they stick with the one piece light units as that imparts a regalness.

All that said, I'll wait till we have better pics and when I can see one in person.

Yes but your E63S looks like a C and S class just in between in size apart from that they all look too similar at least the FL E class wont resemble the current C & S class.

And so the new C, E and S will all have the same horizontal rear lightunits. Different painting, same Russian doll..

Ha, that's the only positive, that its been done before the S And C.
If you're being followed by a C, E or S you know immediately which model it is though . Those three share very little in common with rest of lineup, if you don't like one design, there are several other models, If you're following one, you know which model again, especially at night but to have lights at the front like the glc, lights from behind like an A class now too, it's going to be like when you're behind an audi, you will have less of a clue, I fear the differentiation is going to be even less, before with the E, C and S, at least it was aesthetically pleasing. Now it's just awkward, looks better with the camo on imo.

On a separate point but sort of related, was just looking at UK CLS figures for the new model, it's a flop, right? Is this the case everywhere else? Appears to have sold less of all combined models last year than E63s? I've only seen one on the road and my sales guy said it wasn't doing well either? I was going going to replace my 2015 CLS 63 with one til I saw it.....

Can’t judge from a bad pic, and I didn’t like the pre fl rear so I’m still positive.

Some snapshots of the front and rear lights while going through a car wash on the funfcommasex video.

I like the front, it looks wider with a more sportier appearance than the current pre-FL model. The lower intake extends the entire bumper which also makes it look very different.

In this shot at a quick glance it looks like a previous gen Audi A6. The rear is going to be a love or hate verdict for many people.

Also those edgy exhaust (which is still the same from the W212)
Doesnt even fit to the design.

Wow..GLC headlights with some mismatched rear lights.

Just when I thought MB had the most conceptual awareness in terms of design in recent times. Granted you have limited options when dealing with a FL, but that is borderline ridiculous.

Makes me worried about the C and S tbh.
