The Cross Turismo seems to be the "most similar" competition of the new Ferrari Cross SUV, according to the photos that have just been seen of the Ferrari

The Taycan is already selling in impressive numbers. THIS will provide a further substantial boost:

Have you seen any info about the profile of its customers? Are they new to the brand? Is it taking sales from the Panamera and 911 or from Tesla?

From what I've understood so far, the customer base is comprised of:

Affluent 911 customers who own several other vehicles and want to expand their carpool.

Trade-in prepared former Panamera owners.

Former Tesla S owners

Affluent consumers who opted for the Taycan over cars such as the Audi S7/RS7, BMW 8ers, AMG GT 4 doors, BMW M5, M-B AMG E63 etc.

Quite the mixed-bag, it seems.

And I suppose none of them would ever look back.

Will there even be a cross turismo? I thought they just did a cross turismo for the concept but always intended on making the classic sport turismo the series version.

I think the Macan EV will slaughter the Tycan estate in sales. It would be interesting to see how many Panamera vs Sport Turismo that Porsche has sold

But which handles better and is faster on track (with equal track tire tires), lifted cross Taycan EV or Macan EV?

A Macan EV isn't an estate, its an SUV, the person who is going to buy the Taycan Sport Tourismo isn't the same person who will buy an SUV.

With equal power it will depend on how low the centre of gravity of the Macan EV is and whether it has a decent weight advantage.

It's interesting that Porsche blockbuster, the Cayenne, is doesn't have an EV equivalent on the near horizon.

The sport turismo concept looks brilliant. It would be interesting if porsche offer low and tall riding variants of it.
