Oooohh that’s gonna be a looker.

Coincidentally the new X5, X7, Q7, and Q9 are all debuting with the window trim-mounted electronic door handles. Do they share the same supplier for this part/mechanism or something, that they're both switching to this design?
What’s boring about a good looking vehicle with a fresh design language?just boring.
Hidden door handles were used in Range Rover models before Mercedes, and Leylandi praised the hidden door handles of the W223 S Class. Now, they have moved on to the defense that other manufacturers used BMW and Audi's new door handles before. Hypocrisy once again for Mercedes fans. What’s boring about a good looking vehicle with a fresh design language?

I agree. It wouldn't be right to refer to the majority. He doesn't even speak English. It's all ChatGPT if it's more than three words.
To be fair to MB fans, it's just this baby child here.
I'm not talking about Mercedes getting boring because they keep making the same bumpers. I'm talking about the repetition of the entire pattern. I'm sure that's boring for you too. What’s boring about a good looking vehicle with a fresh design language?
We can’t really say NK models are repetitive, at least at this moment, because we have only seen one model. All these renders are using iX3’s bumpers and graphics. We’ll see how different or same they will look once the camouflage is off.I'm not talking about Mercedes getting boring because they keep making the same bumpers. I don't mind them repeating the same philosophy. I've said it many times before: I prefer a simple yet stylish design to one that looks different and ugly. Actually, I was trying to explain the hypocritical perspective of BMW fans here. They're so eager to interpret the positive side of BMW, no matter what direction it takes. They applauded BMW when it followed a different and bold design philosophy with every model. Now, they've shifted to a conservative and timid philosophy. And they're applauding again! I think the reason for the applause is the end of the horribly proportioned car generation that began with the iX and the redesign of stylish and characterful cars. The iX3 isn't a revolutionary design in the automotive industry. There are similar models in the industry. But the fact that it revolutionized the BMW brand has made it important. People no longer have to impose designs they dislike on themselves or others. The discussions about the 5, 7, and XM on this forum are examples. I bet they will find the middle ground with their designs. People criticized them for making every model look totally different, told that BMW had no brand identity, now it’s the exact opposite. Weird times.
Personally I have always loved their model specific design approaches, but I’m pretty sure they will do the same with the NK models, probably less dramatic though.

I don’t agree with the “people no longer have to impose designs they dislike on themselves or others” statement. Design is totally subjective, so it’s only natural for people to like, or prefer, models that might be “ugly” to some people, because it simply fits their aesthetic. To give a simple example, the reason we got an i5 was not solely based on my BMW biased opinions ( since I’m the only one in my family that is enthusiastic about cars ), but rather based on how good it was as a whole package, and how appealing it looked to us. It’s simply preferences. I’m pretty sure most of the people that favor BMW do actually like those “ugly” models, and not force themselves to like something that they don’t actually care about.I don't mind them repeating the same philosophy. That's right. If we post comparison photos of the previous generation X1, X3, and the soon-to-be-discontinued current X5—all contemporaries—it's the same case. They shared the main design elements and a family resemblance, despite being completely different, as has always been the case (also with their predecessors).BMW's design chief stated a few months ago that the models will differentiate from each other in terms of design. Of course, even though the design language is Neue Klasse, there will be differences in the details, which will ensure that the models stand out from one another.
Since only one Neue Klasse model has been introduced so far, the claims that all models will look alike have no validity.
