They should follow through with the “X” bars. Make it stand out more than the iX3 visually.

I don’t know how to explain it properly but the overall mass and the wheels don’t look proportionate. Something looks a bit off to me. Maybe I’m tripping I don’t know

I guess it will, but they will likely coexist for a few years considering the iX has two years left in a normal production cycle. And there's no reason to cut its life short.

Maybe because they went for action shots. The suspension is hard at work in these pics.
The grille however looks absolutely identical to the iX3 grille to me though, and I find it hard to believe that will be the case.

No. We try to follow the lines of spy prototypes. Some renders turned out closer to the final product, others didn't. Considering how difficult it is to do this, our rendering guy is pretty good.

The grille is completely disguised.

I'd be disappointed if the car turned out as close to the iX3 in the front as your render suggests. I surely hope there's a bit more variation in design because it looks like an iX3 carbon copy as far as I can tell.

And before you get all defensive again, the quality of the render itself is not bad at all. It looks fairly life-like.

I’m pretty sure there will be design changes to differentiate each model from others. For now, X5 seems to be getting different taillight graphics and most probably unique front/rear bumpers as well. I’m also curious to see the alleged “X Shaped” DRL’s.
It would be a huge disappointment if all the models end up looking like different size iX3’s. I personally don’t wanna see no Matryoshka effect.

No one is getting defensive. But we did go by the spy photos. Let's see, we will revisit soon to see how close they are. In fact, our Photoshop guy always posts before and after to show far or how close we were.
