X5 [Spy Shots] Next Gen BMW X5 (G65) and iX5 - coming in 2027?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.

I expect the next X7 to be a big step up like the latest 7 was over the previous one.

Let's hope MB has noticed how much effort BMW is placing into these higher end and higher margin vehicles. Especially considering the GLE and GLS are now tasked with extended lifecycles.

When is the new X7 coming? Is it expected to be the same (exterior/interior) as shown with X5 spy shots - just bit bigger? With Neue Klasse exterior and Panoramic interior?

The current exteriors are nothing alike, yet they have identical interiors. We have no idea about anything else, but hopefully they'll differentiate them a bit this time.

NK exterior yes, and panaromic interior also most definitely yes.

If it does adopt the NK iX3 fascia? Then the central grille will probably be the tallest, thinnest interpretation yet to show its status as the GKL-Klasse SUV.

I have not been keeping up with the new-gen X5 trends lately. It looks like there are two versions, one has an extended cargo area.
The rear door sizes and everything else appears to be the same.
