Is that the new ghost or an artists impression?

Artists impression, but you can see where the major details are coming from...

.....and Müller-Otvös noted the only components carried over from the successful original were the Spirit of Ecstasy figurehead and umbrellas.

Such a shame. I demand a new umbrella design with aluminium spaceframe! The current umbrella is based on the BMW F01!

It's clear that unless Rolls-Royce fits the latest generation of Umbrella's with at least 7kg of batteries and two touch screens, they are doomed to failure.

indeed. Can’t wait to see what they will do to the Wraith and The Dawn.

I'm actually not liking what we're seeing here, to be honest.

That artist impression definitely looks accurate, and seeing it makes sense of what the CEO said about the "softness" and sophistication of the new design, I was pleasantly surprised, I love it, it is novel and striking just as it was the first one which now looks a little dated side by side

All that talk of umbrellas makes me crave a beach.... hmmmmmmm

I have been impressed by how successful the Wraith has been in attracting young under 40s to the brand.

It has a cool Cruella De Vil/Maybach Exelero look that empowers the driver to feel like a boss in charge of their own destiny.

China is a different planet. The younger customers are coming from there and its the same also for the S class. It's not that it is attracting younger customers in Europe and the USA.

Rolls Royce has detailed the extensive chassis developments for its next-generation Ghost luxury saloon, including the use of four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering.

The second-generation Ghost - set to be unveiled in the coming weeks - will follow the latest Phantom in featuring a system that steers the rear wheels as well as the fronts. It will depart from its bigger brother, however, by shunning rear-wheel drive for four driven wheels.

Rolls-Royce has also detailed a new suspension technology making its debut on the Ghost. Called the Planar system, it features what the firm describes as a "world-first technology" in the form of an upper wishbone damper unit mounted above the front suspension assembly for "an even more stable and effortless ride". The system has taken three years to develop.
