Well the issue really isn't the fact that they're giving Maybach a facelift. All companies usually do that including Rolls. The issue is that it's a late facelift.
I agree HoH and if anything, the Maybach shouldn't have gotten a facelift in the first place (like the SLR). The S models were enough to refresh it. And not only that, but it's been eight years since they introduced it. They should've been presenting a replacement by now, not a facelift.
I also don't think they should give up, but they should let it have its own identity. Use the old MM's as a blueprint and start from there.
