X3/X4 [Spy Shots] BMW iX3 2025 (NA5)

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.

Interesting. As expected, not a fan of the vertical kidneys so the sedans will look far better than this.

But I dig it... doesn't look like a Hyundai unlike it's competitor down in Ingolstadt and it actually is a unique design that stands out. Looks better than the iX too.

The back looks good. The front (lower bumper treatment) and sides look way too bloated/tall to me. I'm eager to see it in person regardless.

Looks lovely. They really stayed true to the concept. I wonder how it’s gonna look with different color/wheel combinations

One thing I’m not so sure about are the DRL’s. More specifically the second line, or “stroke”. It’s so small that you can’t even see it. Looks like it just has a one single stroke.
They were much more pronounced in the concept.

I assume Leylandi is making sure we appreciate the mediocrity of the EQ SUV’s since they’re becoming extinct by 2026. Thanks for reminding how bad they look. They won’t be missed 🙏🏻🤣
But they were available with a Sunroof.
Which the new BMW unfortunately aren’t.

The fixed glass roof is absolutely stupid. I despise it on every car.

I mean it would be nice to have an opening glass roof but the mechanicals just reduce the interior space. Majority of manufacturers are going away from it. I don’t think it’s that important.

For me it’s as I said a dealbreaker.

I’m not a NBA player, there’s still plenty of headroom.

BTW: Situations where my Sunroof is closed:
Outside temperature over 30°C( 86°F) or under 6°C(43°F) , Rain, faster driving ( Autobahn with >120km/h(75mph).
Otherwise my sunroof is always fully opened.

With my convertibles the temperature window is even bigger, I even drive at -10°C(14°F) with a open roof.

That’s why having no sunroof is an dealbreaker for me.
