Gone off track Off topic discussion on Mercedes vs BMW from iX3 thread

Leylandi comes up on every BMW thread and says the upcoming car will be a flop. Yet, she doesn't comment on Mercedes' recent constant failures, falling sales, and plummeting profitability.

He spends all day on BMW threads, complaining about how bad my designs and cars are. Mercedes must be paying his a pretty penny for this nonsense. It's clear Mercedes has been failing lately because of Mercedes fanboys like this. :)

Nope, Mercedes Benz should have taken the fanboys much more serious.

We told them ages ago that cars like the C63SE are DOA, the Dealers did the same.

They developed cars nobody asked for. EQE/EQS are in the same Group.
The new SL also is a very strange car.

Audi is even worse.

BMW also developed these shitty gauge cluster, instead of a gauge cluster which uses the same graphics like 90s BMW. Ford did it perfectly on the new Mustang, you choose which rev counter and odo you prefer.

The E46,E39,E60 had gorgeous gauge clusters, put this design on a screen.

You mean internet weirdos that get more pleasure hating another brand on the internet than actually owning a car of their beloved brand?
I'm definitely talking about them. He spends all day talking about BMWs and writing about how bad and ugly all cars are. That's all he does. I feel bad for him.

Mercedes fanboys cream their pants over an irrelevant 1.6 litre V6 turbo as their absolute pinnacle vehicle, bEcCAusE FoRMuLa1™, so the company apply similar tech to their actual road cars... and then you end up with a 4 cylinder C63, and all of a sudden people hate it...

... the problem here is Mercedes listening to fanboys and people that buy F1™ merch™ once every couple of years... instead of listening to multiyear lease holders of more traditional AMG products, who resoundingly all just want the same V8.

The AMG One was always moronic, and you only have to look at the Formula 1™ marketing™ for AMG products to see how it infected the range with the blight AMG fans find themselves with now. If you think I'm wrong, fine, but imagine Mercedes were not in F1™™™™™ at all, do you think they'd have developed the C63 has a hybrid small displacement, low cylinder count car with "Formula™ 1™ technology™". No, they wouldn't. Pagani got the V12 for their hyper car, you got the V6... because F™1™ - you get P1, 2 or 3 technology...

*FWIW, I've no issue with 4 cylinder performance cars, or Hybrids, but I'm not in the AMG buying demographic. It's the weight that makes the C63 seem like an utter miss for me, rather than only having half it's normal engine.

I know that some Dealers (mine has been one of them) were informed 3 yrs before the launch of the C63SE, and their customers immediately ordered the predecessors.

All of them told my dealer to tell AMG to cancel this Shitbox.

None of their customers wanted F1 tech in a roadcar none.

This was even disclosed at the dealer meeting, they were however sure that they could convince their customers.

We know the results.

Regarding the AMG ONE, this car was only produced to promote the F1, with a V12 they wouldn’t have built it at all.
They support instead Pagani.

I still think a Pagani Based AMG would’ve been an excellent idea.

High revving V12 N/A.

If customers want an F1 engine, it's the V8/V10/V12. No one cares about vacuum cleaner-sounding V6s.

No one cares about the AMG One either. It's ridiculous that a 1.6-liter engine is in a car I paid millions of euros for.

Even Ferrari using a V6 in the F80 was ridiculous. V8, V10, and V12 engines are true performance engines.

It's pathetic to describe the AMG ONE as unimportant. If BMW had made it, you'd have a different opinion. For example, would you say the same thing about the BMW i8 with its 1.5-liter engine?
It makes more sense to launch a car with an F1 engine than to launch the XM as a purebred M car.

I haven't seen any criticism of BMW's latest designs (G70, G60, XM...)? You made fun of Mercedes when it switched to a screen-themed cockpit, but praised it when BMW did the same. The accusations you level at me are actually a reflection of yourself. I've known you for years, so trying to make yourself seem different to the people here doesn't make any sense.

I have 4,000 posts on this forum. Do you think they were all written to denigrate BMW? You have 83 posts. Probably all of those 83 posts were about BMW. I bet you wrote about half of them just to mess with me. Face yourself.

Tell that to the team that won the last 2 LeMans with a small V6 engine competing against teams using V8's and V12's.

The AMG One has never been an interesting car. It's poorly designed, and it supposedly brought F1 technology to the roads, but no one likes it.

The i8 wasn't a car that sold for millions of euros, and it wasn't marketed as bringing F1 technology to the roads.

You're pathetic enough to think Mercedes' HyperScreen and BMW's NK concept are the same.

You were criticizing BMW for offering the same model with both electric and internal combustion engines and praising the nonsense of the EQ, but the EQ cost Mercedes dearly. Now, Mercedes, like BMW, will offer both electric and internal combustion models in the same model, and this time, you're defending it.

You were criticizing BMW's theater screen, but now Mercedes will probably introduce a theater screen soon, and you'll be talking about how great it is. :)
