It could be that you are simply very impressed by the wide tracked/more pronounced, less slabbed wheelarch metal surfacing presented on many images. I can assure you, so am I. I'd love to see this on the "non M5" LCI cars. But alas, I very much doubt that this will be the case.

True, and also seeing how successful the 7er LCI is, they did a fantastic job. The headlights were the weakest point of the pre LCI IMO.

IMHO, the "adjustments" required would be far too cost consuming for BMW to apply them to the "standard" G60/61. For example, flank/wheelarch metal surfacing more similar to that of the M5 models-including the wider track. M5 similar rocker-skirts as well.

Agreed. But the current one is tragic. It looks like a super sized 2 series. It can only get better with the FL.

in the right specs it looks very good tbh but yes in other specs it doesn't look good

For some it seems a little misunderstood, luckily buyers seem to understand it very well. I personally love its sharp lines; they give it a striking, modern, distinctive, and attractive look on the street for what is a "simple" sedan.

The fact that the front design still has two different faces and all these various prototypes continue to be tested is confusing.

I’d call it an M5-specific front design, but last year, while the regular 5 Series was being tested with this same front, we saw many other M5 prototypes sporting the face that was supposedly changed again. This, of course, confuses everyone.
