Slimmer headlights and isolated from the "grilles" (?)

Slimmer they could be and in all honesty he could be right but you sure as hell can't see that in these pics. That grille is completely fake and for now it perfectly fits the NK style below the camo.

The new camo makes the car go from E60 5er (pre LCI) to E39 5er visually. Funny

If the grille is not fake you have to come forward a bit too and meet in the middle; it's still NK inspired.
Agree with the fun part of these discussions. It's why I am here.

Yussss F10 was peak. Extremely sporty especially with M Sport, and beautiful cab-rearward proportions. Looks so damn good.

Damn their camo must be crazy good if it’s just a slight facelift. Still kind of looks like a neue klasse front end to me, but a little different from the earlier spied cars. I’m sure BMWblog is much more informed than all of us.

The NK look continues, just in a revised form. Previous reports stated that the NK makeup style had been abandoned.

I hope BMWblog is right. BMW 5 sells very good. I see every day a few BMW 5, while Mercedes E very rarely. So I guess many people likes current design. Also its not right to completly change a design after 3-4 years. Its not logical that LCI would get bigger design change than it will be between G60 LCI and next gen. Also BMW 7 is older model than BMW 5 and it wont get NK design with LCI.

I believe they will change lights a little and looking at latest photos it won't have that tall front grill. But it wont be a copy/paste next gen. 3 series. Also when BMWBlog wrote that article we only saw NK design prototypes. So their article was completly different to what we saw. Now a few months later we see prototypes which dont look like a copy/paste next gen. 3 series.

There is one logical reason to remember at the moment is the fact that BMW has decided to make the extensions to the life spans of the entire 5er, i5 and M5 families.

The front fenders are also redesigned to match and harmonize with the new set of front bumper and headlights.

Maybe, waiting for new spy shots. The idea was probably more along the lines that the exterior design was supposed to be even "more Neue Klasse".

This I can agree with, front light fixture looks the same as the initial spy shots.

You can easily see the NK design from here. It just has a thinner and sportier headlight design.

Yes, this was really good news. Slimmer headlights and some adjustments to the grill give that car the BMW facia it needed. Much better than the old NK-prototype facia.
